Tweeter fees, an original application by ING Canada
Discovered by chance, this "application" designed by ING Canada and launched in June 2009 was deserted since early 2010. But " Tweeter Costs" ("Tweeter Fee" in English) still retains my attention for its original use (and banking) from Twitter.
component of the 'Righteous Costs "(" Fair Fees "in English) of the bank to greater" justice in bank charges, "the proposed application to all Internet tweeter, at the account opened for the occasion (@ FeeTweeter ), fees are charged by their establishment.
The main objective of the operation was to organize a sort of "event" public "ras-le-bol" by collecting a maximum of participants and demonstrate the commitment of ING to costs " fairer. " But it was also for the bank to raise consumer awareness about, highlighting the amounts, sometimes extravagant, paid for financial services and regularly providing all users a summary of their expenses (the better to perceive the impact).
"Tweeter Fresh" is obviously a failure, but the idea of using Twitter for targeted use, appealing to a wide audience, deserves not to be forgotten. When will the next experiment of a bank with all the web talk?
